Ocean of Tea Commitment to Green We at Ocean of Tea realize that our planet is our most valuable resource, and we wish to make every effort available to our commitment to Green.

1.We innovate green. We use bio-degradable packaging where ever possible and are currently working on revolutionary new "green" tea packaging.  There is a cost involved, but we value our planet and feel this cost is worth it. 2 We encourage minimizing impact via re-use. We offer re-using of tea tins. This allows customers to keep using tins over and over, and lowers or footprint. 3. We educate our customers. Our newsletter offers tips on keeping our world green. Our packaging offers green tips. We utilize Twitter to spread the green way of life. 4. We support a greener commute. We support We firmly believe in tele-commuting wherever possible.  If our employees do not need to be on location, we support that.  100% of our employees tele-commute at least one day a week. 5.We strive for a paperless office.  Email and online reports are the currency of our organization. 6. We live green. We currently utlize compact fluorescent bulbs in our home and office. 7. We recycle. We are active recyclers and hold our "infamous" office recyclying contests. We also utilize recycled products wherever possible. 8. We are constantly changing. We hold a once per week staff meeting to determine new ways to go green. We encourage our customers to provide suggestions and input on our way of doing business. 9. We believe in transparent business. After all, who provides the working capital for this business to exist? Customers. 10. We work green. Within 3-5 years we hope to build our own location, which we estimate at 70-80% off the grid. 11. We allow you to browse green. We are members of co2stats.com to pay for our website carbon. 12. We have a commitment to QUALITY green products. We are working towards sourcing our entire line of teas from fair trade approved, organic estates. We are committed to being a green Tea Company
